The first-ever MacKenzie-Childs Artisan Crafts Festival will be held September 30 to October 2, 2022, at the company’s headquarters in Aurora, NY. This outdoor, juried Artisan Craft Festival will draw over 150 artisans and highlight handmade creations to customers and fans of MacKenzie-Childs. In this eight-week series, students will learn basic sewing skills, starting with the operation of the sewing machine. Patterns, fabrics and clothing construction will also be covered. After completing a series of small projects, students will choose and sew their own project with guidance from instructor Barbara Corey.

This is an excellent way for the beginner as well as the intermediate level painters to learn to see colors as light and dark values.
