Networking

Whether structured or casual, the Chamber’s networking events create ideal opportunities for members to meet other area business people and potential customers. Considering that relationship marketing is one of the key methods to generate and sustain business, these events provide Member businesses and their employees with a “no pressure” environment in which to build relationships and conduct business with one another.

Business after Five Receptions

As the Chamber’s premier networking events, these social gatherings allow members of the business community to meet, exchange ideas, talk business in a relaxed and informal setting, and make important, long-lasting bonds. Business after Five Receptions also afford the hosting business an opportunity to showcase their workplace and gain invaluable marketing exposure. To host a BAF, please contact the Chamber to reserve a date.

Business at Noon

A monthly Chamber event providing an opportunity for members to network with a wide variety of business people in an informal atmosphere, Business at Noon hours are 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. To host a BAN, please contact the Chamber to reserve a date.

Membership Breakfasts and Luncheons

Educational or political-oriented gatherings are scheduled throughout the year and throughout the County to enhance member businesses by broadening their knowledge of subjects affecting the economic and business climate. These events also promote a direct connection to key decision makers. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Council, Committees and Task Forces

Membership in the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce offers more than social networking opportunities. Because the Chamber connects directly with policy makers, seeks to enhance economic development throughout the County, and looks to support member businesses, active participation and input from Chamber members in its committee activities and projects is essential. Such involvement is not limited to officers or executives of Member businesses, but their employees as well. This provides a significant opportunity for Members to not only make meaningful contributions to our community, but also to enhance their leadership and project management skills in areas of similar interest.
