March 2021 Chamber Newsletter
So far this year, the Chamber hosted a number of virtual offerings to keep you informed and connected. These included a forum with Congressman Katko about federal stimulus, educational webinars about marketing and HR topics, and virtual visits at the Equal Rights Heritage Center and the Seward House Museum. We are anticipating being mostly remote for a while longer as our community gets vaccinated, but there are plenty more opportunities to look forward to. Our “State of” series will be the last two weeks of March, featuring presentations by the City of Auburn, Cayuga County, and a panel of schools (Auburn Enlarged City School District, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, Cayuga Community College, and Wells College). FLGIC also has a seminar scheduled for nonprofits about the “3 Most Effective Fundraising Strategies for Your Organization” on April 7. On April 12, we’ll be hosting a Public Affairs Forum with Ellen Brody from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to provide updates on the National Marine Sanctuary designation of Lake Ontario. And we’ll be continuing our virtual visits until later this year when it is safe to be in person again for some good old networking! Keep an eye on www.cayugacountychamber.com/events to stay up to date on upcoming events and to register for anything you’d like to attend.
