Summer Recap
As per usual, the Chamber had a lot of fun this summer! We launched a new weekly video update, #GearUpCayuga, on Facebook. Every week Amy and Jess are out and about providing information, updates, and plenty of laughs, so don’t miss out!
This summer we also enjoyed a beautiful day of golf at the 25th Annual Chamber Cup Golf Tournament, kicked off Chamber Networking Nights at Falcon Park with the Auburn Doubledays, and another awesome Clambake at Yawgerbrook. We also helped to celebrate new and renovated businesses at numerous ribbon cuttings, including Chamber members FIERCE with Love, Holiday Inn Auburn, Auburn Medical Supply, and Next Chapter Brewpub.
Looking Forward to Fall
Many of us associate September with the start of a new school year, and the Chamber is no different… Leadership Cayuga starts this Friday, so I’d like to extend a big “welcome” to the new class. We’re excited to have all of you as part of the LC and Chamber Family!
Our main fall event is the 109th Annual Dinner on October 17. This is the most anticipated event of the year and always has great attendance. This year’s theme is Spotlight Cayuga and will highlight performing arts and unique stages in Cayuga County. Performing arts are a part of what makes our community vibrant and play a key role in both tourism and quality of life, so we are excited to “spotlight” the sector at this year’s Dinner. Registration is open now. Come join us and 300+ of your closest Chamber friends!
In the meantime, we have plenty of other networking and educational opportunities to hold you over!
