Owasco Watershed Lake Association(OWLA)

OWLA is the receipt of the 2022 Nonprofit of the Year Award. This award recognizes a nonprofit organization that contributes to the success of our community by enhancing the quality of life or contributing to the economic base of Cayuga County.

OWLA exists to protect Owasco Lake. They are a citizen based 501c3 not for profit corporation founded in 1988. OWLA is an organization dedicated to restoring and maintaining the health of the water supply to many in Cayuga County. A clean lake is vital to the health and growth of our community. A very dedicated group of volunteers is working to ensure we have a healthy Owasco Lake.
