Finger Lakes Railway

Finger Lakes Railway began operations in 1995 and currently operates, markets and maintains over 167 miles of track currently in 6 upstate NY counties including, Cayuga, Onondaga, Seneca, Ontario, Yates and Schuyler. Services in the Cayuga region include freight shipments to and from Owens-Illinois, Nucor Steel, Auburn Metals, Distribution Centers of America, Corrosion Control, CaroVail, DeLong Grain, Helena Chemicals, Martens Farms and other smaller yet prominent fertilizer, grain and aggregate shippers. Other operations include train excursions for community organizations, holidays and special events
