Through a combination of classroom and hands-on training, students will learn the basic skills needed to work on personal watercraft and jet boat systems and drives. They will gain specific experience with Yamaha watercraft along with skills that will transfer to other brands. Students will receive Yamaha Introduction to Jet Propulsion (ITJP) Certification upon successful completion of the course.

The E. John Gavras Center will host its second annual Welcome to Summer Lake Dance on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Emerson Park Pavilion. The event will be from 6:00pm-11:00pm and will include live music with the Mere Mortals, food trucks and a beer and wine cash bar featuring Prison City Brewery.
