Lunchtime Lecture: Elements of Empyrean
NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center 25 South Street, AuburnJoin Seward House Museum Education and Outreach Coordinator Kate Grindstaff in an exploration of cultural beliefs and traditions involving solar eclipses. William H. Seward encountered many of these cultures on his travels and came into ownership of various celestial-related items! This event is free and open to the public.

Seward House Museum 33 South Street, AuburnJoin us for First Friday! Enjoy an exhibit in the Museum’s gift shop by Justin Moshaty, a mixed media artist and art educator in Auburn, NY. Justin’s collage work is “woven together like an old wall covered in layers of graffiti documenting the passage of time as new layers are added, old pieces fade, and the landscape evolves and changes.” Complimentary refreshments will be provided and rooms in the Museum will be open for interpretation.
