Family Fabric Painting Workshop
Artist Kevin Carr will teach the art of fabric painting to children in this family-friendly workshop. Children age 5 and up – assisted by their parents – will create in response to prompts, and take the fabric home to be used in other projects. Workshop includes an artist-led tour of “I Am a Friend of Dorothy.” Space is limited so register today! All materials are included.

Improvised Scrap Quilting Workshop
Artist Kevin Carr will demonstrate different improvised patchwork techniques, then participants will have time in the studio to work on the various techniques. This is a great chance to use up scraps from previous projects and add new quilting techniques to your repertoire. Join the Friends of Seymour Library on July 9, 2023 from 12 noon - 4 p.m. for a self-guided tour of 8 private and 4 public gardens throughout historic Auburn. Tickets are available online or at Seymour Library. $15 in advance. $20 day of event. Enjoy beautiful gardens, refreshments, and a plein air art show. Event begins at Hoopes Park. All proceeds go to support Seymour Public Library programs and services.
