Ukrainian Embroidery Workshop -Easter Embroidery
Carriage House Theater 203 Genesee St (rear), AuburnLearn how to make an Easter time design in the traditional Ukrainian lyshtva method, led by artist Nataliia Shynkareno. This workshop offers a more detailed opportunity to learn about Ukrainian traditional embroidery. In addition to the previously introduced technique of diagonal lyshtva embroidery, the participants will learn to incorporate shtapivka (a running stitch) and a double cross into the design. All materials will be provided by the instructor.
