Seymour Library’s 150th Birthday Trivia Bash

The Friends of the Seymour Public Library, a non-profit volunteer-based organization, will host Seymour Library’s 150^th Birthday Trivia Bash on Friday September 18, 2026 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. It will be held at The Phoenix Building at 2 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021, the first home of the Seymour Library. The event is a fundraiser to support Library programs and services.

We are excited to celebrate the library’s 150^th anniversary with the goal of promoting reading and literacy by connecting the community with the library’s rich history. The event will feature a Seymour Library History Trivia Game as well as refreshments, raffles, and tours of the historic Phoenix Building. Tickets will be a suggested $25 donation; a $45 dollar donation will include tours.
