Screening & Discussion: “In Old Arizona (1928)”
A charming, happy-go-lucky bandit in old Arizona plays cat-and-mouse with the sheriff trying to catch him while he romances a local beauty. The first Western with sound-film featured an all-Movietone soundtrack thanks to the work of the Case Research Lab! Andrew Patrick Nelson, Chief Curator of Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, will join us virtually as our moderator to introduce the film and lead a Q&A afterwards.
Admission to this program is free, although donations are greatly appreciated.
This film is part of the “In to the Sunset” Western Film Series at the Cayuga Museum.
