Presenter: Amanda Mazzoni, Principal Planner for the Central NY Regional Planning and Development Board & Ed Wagner, Supervisor for the Town of Owasco, Chair of the OLWMC
Description: Broadly, watershed protection included managing, in part, the effects of climate change.  Climate change has brought more flooding and increased surface water temperatures, which has prolonged lake stratification, driving HABs.  It’s important that we attempt to mitigate adverse effects at the local level.
