Nurse Aide Program

This program is designed for individuals who are interested in obtaining employment as a nurse aide. A combination of classroom and clinical experience is offered, preparing individuals to become a Nurse Aide and take the New York State Department of Health certification examination. Students learn skills in a modern skills laboratory and practice skills using each other and manikins prior to attending clinical. Students are assigned to care for one or more residents in a facility and provide all the care that the client needs.

Course includes: 120 hours of instruction, 30 hours of clinical experience, 90 hours of classroom and laboratory experience

Course fee includes: uniform, textbook, certification examination fee, physical (if needed), Tuberculosis test, blood work (if needed)
