Join us Friday, March 1st from 5:00 – 7:00 PM for a First Friday Community Event and the opening reception of Going Upstate, a traveling exhibit curated by Kristin Doughty and Joshua Dubler, associate professors of anthropology and religion at the University of Rochester. This exhibit is based on six years of ethnographic research conducted alongside their students and will complement the Museum’s work toward exploring the history of the Auburn Correctional Facility.
There will be complimentary refreshments and rooms in the Museum available for interpretation, including the Museum’s Rooted in Reform exhibit. This event is free and open to the public.
