Al Chez & The Brothers of Funk Big Band in Concert

The Auburn Music Boosters are thrilled to announce that after last year’s successful Electrify Your Symphony program, we have secured the renowned trumpet player, Al Chez, to conduct exclusive music clinics for our students and perform a live concert with his band, The Brothers of Funk Big Band. Al Chez, known for his incredible talent and extensive experience, has been the trumpeter for the CBS Orchestra on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and has collaborated with musical icons such as Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton. As a Yamaha teaching artist he has conducted hundreds of clinics at schools around the country where his easy-going attitude and out-of-this-world trumpet playing is both inspiring and motivational to the students. The Brothers of Funk Big Band is a high energy band, (which features sisters too) that averages 15 amazing talented cats from the NY area, as well as special players sitting in at any given gig.
