Census Bureau

The Census Bureau (census.gov) is the leading source of quality data about the nation’s people and economy. It honors privacy, protects confidentiality, shares its expertise globally, and conducts its work openly.

IRS

The IRS (irs.ustreas.gov) carries out the responsibilities of the Secretary of the Treasury under section 7801 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Secretary has full authority to administer and enforce the internal revenue laws and has the power to create an agency to enforce these laws. The IRS was created based on this legislative grant.

OSHA

OSHA (osha.gov/about.html) is part of the United States Department of Labor and is administrated by the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health. OSHA’s administrator answers to the Secretary of Labor, who is a member of the cabinet of the President of the United States.
