Basic Stick Welding

In this introductory course, learn about the protective clothing and gear, welding safety, and proper equipment set-up and safe handling of high-pressure oxygen and acetylene tanks. Learn techniques of Oxy Fuel Welding (OFW), Oxy Fuel Cutting, proper usage and flame control as well as enhanced cutting techniques. At the end of this program, students will have an understanding of constant current carrying machines and polarities, arc control, electrode classification, the use of E6010, E7018, E6013, E6011 electrodes as well as welder settings and techniques and out of position welding (1G. 2G, 3G, 4G).
