SUMMARY:16th Annual Fair Haven VIRTUAL Run/Walk for Hospice
DESCRIPTION:Though a difficult decision\, due to the continuing COVID-19 health crisis\, we have decided to hold the 16th Annual Run/Walk for Hospice scheduled for Saturday\, July 3rd\, in Fair Haven\, NY as a Virtual Walk/Run again this year. But…that means we can run (together for Hospice) from anywhere! \nThe Fair Haven 15th Annual Run for Hospice event was truly a great success\, even in virtual form. Thanks to all of you\, over $5\,700 was raised for Hospice! Let’s raise the bar this year and hit $10\,000 raised! \nRace entrants are being asked to run that same distance on their own while following social distancing recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Run\, walk or push a stroller all in support of Hospice patients and families. \nRegistration is $20. Sign up by June 6th to guarantee a race t-shirt that you will be able to pick up at several pick-up locations to be announced.  \nAll proceeds will benefit the patients and families we serve. \nWe will see you at YOUR starting line!

SUMMARY:The Golden Goose
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, the Rev Theatre Company will tour The Golden Goose! Based on the classic Brothers’ Grimm story\, The Golden Goose follows young Hans\, an inexperienced woodcutter trying to support his family. When Hans shows kindness to an injured old man in the woods\, he is given the reward of a golden goose! Hans ventures into the kingdom in search of the old man to thank him. Along the way he meets several townspeople\, and when they try to touch the goose to take one of the beautiful golden feathers\, they become stuck and nothing they try breaks them free. Eventually\, the entire kingdom is stuck to the goose. Meanwhile\, a young\, gloomy princess sits high in her castle. The king offers a huge reward to anyone who can make the princess laugh. Hans heads to the castle to see if he can get help with his sticky situation\, and when the princess looks out her window to see what all the commotion is about\, she can’t help but burst into a fit of laughter. Hans is given a huge reward and is able to help support his family. They all learn that kindness is a virtue not to be overlooked!
