DESCRIPTION:Quizeum! Trivia is back at the Cayuga Museum\, but this time you get to show off in-person at the Carriage House Theater! Join us and our guest MC from the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce! Our next trivia night is called “How Well Do You Know Cayuga County?” Show us everything you know about your county’s history\, economy\, and population!  \nThe next Quizeum will be held on Thursday\, September 16\, at 6 PM in the Carriage House Theater! Gather your friends\, grab some drinks\, and unleash your inner know-it-all. You don’t need to be a scholar of Cayuga County to win! First\, Second\, and Third place teams will all win special prizes! \nSign-ups are available at https://cayugamuseum.org/quizeum-trivia-night/\, or you can sign your team up at the door. Teams can have no more than six players.  Proceeds will support the Cayuga Museum and the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce. Tease your brain\, grab some drinks\, and have a fun night out while supporting local history and art! \nTeam sign-ups are $10 per person\, $8 for teams including members of the Museum or the Chamber of Commerce. SUMMARY:NYS Sexual Harassment Training for Nonprofit Board Members & Small Businesses
DESCRIPTION:About:\nUnder New York State guidelines\, every public and private employer is required to adopt a sexual harassment prevention program which includes annual sexual harassment training\, sexual harassment policies\, and specific procedures that meet or exceed the requirements outlined in a model notice provided by the NYS Department of Labor and the Division of Human Rights. \nWe know the cost of this can be a deterrent for smaller organizations so the Finger Lakes Grant Information Center (FLGIC) will hold these session throughout the year for non-profit board members. \n**If more than 10 members of your organization need this training\, there may be a more cost-effective option for you! Contact us here for more information.  \nPinnacle Human Resources Consulting\, LLC. has developed a training program that adheres to the NY State guidelines to ensure that all employees and supervisors receive compliant training by applying examples to real-life scenarios\, as well as utilizing learnings into their daily work-life. \nThis event will be held online.  \nOutcomes:\nEach participant will meet their annual requirement for the sexual harassment training (Individual Contributor or Supervisory).  Participants will be e-mailed a certificate of completion upon completion of the training. \nIntended Audience: \nNonprofits Board Members \nSmall businesses with only a few employees \n  \nPresented By: \n\nCaprice Reader\nMBA\, PHR\, SHRM-SCP  \nPinnacle Human Resources \n\nPinnacle Human Resources\, LLC was established on November 1\, 2009.
