Come learn about the economic and educational impact, visitation, and tourism potential of Auburn’s historic and cultural sites!

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the first State of the Sites program, Auburn’s Historic and Cultural Sites Commission is reinstating this annual event!

During this morning program, Auburn residents, business owners, politicians, and any other members of the public are welcome to learn more about the impact of these nonprofit arts organizations. Auburn’s history is one of its greatest assets and areas for tourism growth, so come and hear about the state of the sites!

State of the Sites brings Auburn’s historic and cultural organizations together to share recent accomplishments, preservation projects, and future plans while highlighting the important role that tourism plays in our community and local economy.

Participating organizations include the Seward House Museum, NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center, Cayuga Museum of History & Art, Schweinfurth Art Center, Auburn Public Theater, Willard Memorial Chapel, Seymour Library, the Harriet Tubman Home, Inc., Harriet Tubman National Historical Park, Fort Hill Cemetery, and more.

This program is made in partnership with the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce and Auburn Downtown BID and is sponsored by Tour Cayuga and the Hilton Garden Inn.
