Nancy Crow, a highly respected and influential textile artist, displays her recent work in a solo exhibition that represents emotions and thoughts articulated in the language of geometric elements that emphasize figure/ground tension. For her, figure/ground tension, or the interplay between background and foreground in an image, equals beauty.
